Content creator and influencer Andrew Tate has been removed from Facebook and Instagram for violating Meta’s policies
A spokesperson for Meta confirmed to News sources that he was banned from using Facebook and Instagram but did not clarify that the ban was permanent or not.
Matt Bernstein, queer content creator, described Tate's online presence as "dangerous" last week in an Instagram post. He detailed Tate’s violent, antigay and misogynistic remarks.
The viral clips featuring offensive comments about women and Tate calling them " property", have made Tate's fame soar over the last few weeks.
According to analytics platform Social Blade, the British American had 4.7million followers at the time of his removal. 2 million of these followers he had acquired within the last 30 days.
